Jelly Roll Fans Are Calling His Latest Song the “Collab of the Year”

By

Jelly Roll is one of the biggest names in music right now, let alone in the country genre. Part of what makes him so likable is his willingness to collaborate and connect on a deeper level, both with everyday folks and fellow musicians. In the last year alone, he’s visited and spoken to a handful of detention centers and jails, and has had inspiring collabs with Lainey Wilson (“Save Me”), Post Malone (“Losers”), MGK (“Lonely Road” and “Time of Day”), Wiz Khalifa (“Higher Than Heaven”), and Jessie Murph (“Wild Ones”). Now, he’s joined forces with yet another voice of the moment.

On Friday, May 23, after nearly a month of teasing, Alex Warren dropped “Bloodline” in collaboration with Jelly Roll. The uptempo, folk-pop song is a commentary on generational trauma patterns and a message to all that you’re never alone, and even the most seemingly inescapable chains can be broken.
